Pine Rest’s Center for Senior Care is involved in a number of collaborative community partnerships to benefit seniors, families, and caregivers.

Caregiver Resource Network

• A collaboration of West Michigan organizations dedicated to providing for the needs and welfare of family and professional caregivers within the community.

Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE)

• Delivering all needed medical and supportive services, the program is able to provide the entire continuum of care and services to seniors with chronic care needs while maintaining their independence in their homes for as long as possible.
• Partners: Holland Home, Metro Health, Grand Rapids Dominicans, and HHS Health Options

Dementia Screening Day

• Free, community-wide, annual screenings for dementia in partnership with the Greater Michigan Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Contact: 616/222-4500.

Saint Mary’s Memory Disorders Clinic

• Pine Rest clinicians provide on-site psychiatry, neuropsychological testing, and therapy services. Contact: 616/752-5432.

Saint Mary’s Parkinson’s Clinic

• Pine Rest clinicians provide on-site psychiatry, neuropsychological testing, and therapy services. Contact: 616/752-5400.

Geriatric Education Center of Michigan (GECM)

• A grant administered by Michigan State University, this collaborative project offers education and training for health professionals to enhance quality and availability of health care for older adult.

West Michigan Alliance for Gerontology Education (WM-AGE)

• A partnership of professionals from various settings interested in furthering gerontology knowledge, education, and skills.
• Partners: Grand Valley State University, Area Agency on Aging of West Michigan, Calvin College, Grand Rapids Community College Older Learner Center. Funded through the Geriatric Education Center - Michigan, Michigan State University.
