Kalamazoo Clinic

The Kalamazoo Clinic provides the Kalamazoo community with quality mental health services, including therapy, psychological assessment/testing, intensive outpatient substance abuse/addictions services, and medication services if needed.  Services are available to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Treatment formats include individual, couple, family, and group interventions, as appropriate. The Clinic has access to all of Pine Rest's resources, including experts in behavioral health, partial hospitalization, inpatient treatment, and residential services.

Concerns addressed include:

• Depression
• Anxiety
• Adjustment concerns
• Relationship issues
• Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
• substance abuse/addictions

Services:

• Therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups
• Premarital assessment and therapy
• Intervention for communication difficulties and persistent mood problems
• Evaluation for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and related behaviors
• substance abuse/addictions evaluations, treatment, and referral*
• substance abuse/addictions education to schools, parent groups, and industry
• Evaluations—psychiatric, psychological, employment, court
• Educational classes in personal and family life, communication skills, assertiveness training, and other areas
• Medication services
• Referral to other treatment or programs, including partial hospitalization and inpatient programs
