Inpatient and Partial Hospitalization Services

Through a joint operating agreement, patients have access to 170 inpatient psychiatric beds, located between the campuses of Pine Rest and Saint Mary's Health Care. Of these beds, 56 are licensed to Pine Rest and 114 are licensed to Saint Mary’s Health. Care is overseen by Pine Rest.

We offer a full continuum of acute, inpatient and partial hospitalization behavioral health services. This includes services for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Persons admitted may be experiencing a severe depression, psychosis, suicidal risks or attempts, self harming behavior, or some other mental health crisis.

Patients in the programs receive professional assessments and individualized treatment covering the following areas:

  • Medication Education, Evaluation and Management
  • Group Educational Therapies
  • Individual Consultations and Therapies
  • Family Consultations and Therapies
  • Psychiatric, Psychosocial, and Medical Assessment and Treatment
  • Group Psychotherapy
  • Spiritual Care Available

Our caring, experienced staff includes psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, psychologists, clinical social workers, nurses, case managers, occupational therapists, chaplains, and other mental health professionals and direct care staff. Their goals are crisis stabilization followed by development of an individualized after-care plan.
