Led by Gunther Schwartz, LLP, MS, at the Pine Rest Traverse City Clinic, 1050 Silver Drive, Traverse City. Cost: Free and open to the public -- ages young adult and up. Class time is 6 - 7:30 p.m. Space is limited. Reserve your space today by calling 231/947-2255.

Is your child strong willed? Does it seem other children are easier to parent than yours? Are your interactions with your child frequently stressed, ending up in power struggles over the littlest things? Is your child frequently over reactive, inflexible and resistant to the point that you feel exhausted trying to deal with them? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this presentation is for you.

The challenges of caring for a strong willed child can leave a parent feeling like a failure. You're not alone. There is hope for a more peaceful future.

Together We Can identify and understand the characteristics of the strong willed child.

Together We Can learn to accept our child for who they are and release ourselves from unnecessary blame.

Together We Can explore effective ways to deal with our child that help avoid power struggles, gain willing behaviors and create a peaceful environment in the home.
