Each year, Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services hosts its Professional
Lecture Series. We strive to bring local, regional, and national experts
to Grand Rapids and West Michigan to share their expertise and the
latest
research and information on topics such as bipolar disorder, dementia
and Alzheimer’s disease, depression, developmental disabilities
and mental health, religion/spirituality and mental health, and more.
These lectures are
open to physicians, nurses, behavioral health care providers, clergy
and lay
ministers, referral sources, managed care/insurance companies, court
professionals, and the general public. MERC CME credit hours and nursing
CEU credit hours
are generally offered.
