Pine Rest Celebrates Centennial
Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services is observing an historic milestone in 2010 as the organization marks 100 years of service to the greater Grand Rapids and national community. The highlight of the celebratory year is the “Reaching Out, Changing Lives” Gala on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids. This memorable and exciting evening features special guest Mrs. Rosalynn Carter, former First Lady and author of the recently released book, “Within our Reach: Ending the Mental Health Crisis.” The gala will also showcase Pine Rest and the Pine Rest Foundation through entertainment, displays and multi-media. The Pine Rest Foundation is celebrating its 50th anniversary during this same time. More information available in the near future.
